Friday Therapy, etc....

Ryan and Logan went to therapy today. Logan for speech with Ms. Cheryl and Ryan for occupational with Ms. Corey. Ryan cried for just a little bit until Ms. Cheryl brought him an Elmo. He stopped crying, allowed Ms. Corey to take him into the therapy room and allowed her to hold him and work with him for about 20 minutes. It's amazing what Elmo can make your kids do!

Katie, Marie and Rhys colored and hung out with Ryan until we could sneak back out of the room. They were able to color and chat with the other therapy patients waiting their turns. We have "borrowed" Rhys a couple of times to make our therapy outing less hectic. When Marie gets bored she likes to irritate the other children for fun. (Hmmm - I wonder where she learned that Uncle Don/Uncle Dave??) Rhys has had a nice calming effect on Marie for the most part which makes therapy day with all the kids a lot more tolerable.

One week from today is meet the teacher so we took a longer route home from therapy so we could show Rhys their school. We will be heading out there next week to see who will be Marie's teacher this coming year for third grade. Where has all the time gone?? Seems like she just started kindergarten! We know which class Logan will be in, the same as last year with Ms. Wilcox. Yeah!!! He loves to be in the class room with her, Ms. Ann and Ms. Kim and all his friends.

Time to get back to some laundry, making lunch and changing diapers. Some days that's all I do and the house looks like a tornado hit it. Once school starts the house will stay clean until 10 minutes after Marie and Logan get home; I hope!
